Persistence Labs is currently seeking an experienced Golang engineer to join our team. We're looking for a candidate who has a good grasp of software development fundamentals and is eager to enhance their skills while contributing to our projects. The ideal candidate should have an appreciation for writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code and be open to adopting best practices.
In this role, you will be part of a remote and dynamic startup environment. We value individuals who are not discouraged by unfamiliar concepts and are willing to learn. Designing, developing, ship and maintaining production-grade blockchain software
Produce and review technical designs and reference documentation
Contribute to team planning, estimation, and roadmapping
Promote and implement software engineering best practices
Coach junior developers
Participate in code reviews and demonstrations
A Bachelor’s in Computer Science or related technical field
4+ years Experience as a full-time software developer, including extensive knowledge of Go (2+ years for Mid Level role)
Strong knowledge of modern software development and testing practices
Strong expertise in Golang with prior experience of building applications in Golang
Necessary experience in Javascript/typescript
Well versed with Github practices and Github CI
Strong knowledge about blockchains & proof of stake
Strong technical problem solving, communication, and collaboration skills
Excellent troubleshooting skills
Experience with cloud native application development (k8s, Docker, GH actions, CI/CD)
Previous experience of working with either Rust or Python
Frontend development and integration experience
Knowledge of RPC/websockets, web3js, cosmjs/cosmos-sdk
Strong knowledge about blockchains and proof of stake
Experience in DeFi (decentralized finance) or derivatives trading
Contributions to open source projects and especially in blockchain
Moderate experience with any one of these Postgres, Graphql, and leveldb BONUS: Experience with Liquid Staking
